Description

The whole leaves (also referred to as needles) of rosemary, the familiar woody perennial that is used for its flavor and as a decorative plant in gardens. Rosemary leaves have a slightly bitter and astringent flavor, and a characteristic aroma, and are often used to flavor stuffings and meats. They feature prominently in traditional Italian cuisine.
